Heart Failure affects an estimated 64M cases globally
Our Mission
JVPLabs is advancing heart failure care through proprietary optical imaging
technology that enables rapid, non-invasive assessment of cardiac filling
pressures. Our goal is to support clinicians with actionable insights that
significantly reduces the cost of CHF care across the continuum
The Problem
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a leading cause of hospitalization. CHF also has the highest rate of 30-day hospital readmission. It is the single biggest cost driver for Medicare. Accurate monitoring of cardiac filling pressures is key to effective CHF management, however its adoption is limited due to current methods being invasive, expensive or simply impractical for routine use.
The Solution
JVPLabs has developed a non-invasive, cost-effective way to assess cardiac filling pressures — the key indicator to effectively manage fluid status in heart failure patients.
We do this by automating the assessment of Jugular Venous Pressure (JVP), a clinically validated proxy for cardiac filling pressure.
Our device provides CHF specific data that allows proactive and personalized care for patients across the continuum.
-
Our solution gives clarity and peace of mind. By providing a simple, non-invasive way to monitor fluid status, it helps them better understand their condition and track their progress — reducing uncertainty and anxiety
-
Real time access to non-invasive cardiac filling pressures enables more informed decisions, earlier interventions, and better-aligned care. It turns a traditionally subjective assessment into a standardized tool clinicians can depend upon.
-
Heart failure is expensive — primarily due to hospitalization and readmissions. By helping teams determine when patients are truly stable, our technology supports optimized discharge timing and ongoing outpatient management, with the potential to significantly reduce costs across the continuum of care.
